congratulations well done boys great to see champions on the clubs achievements board once again. Posted by Jay on 14 March 2012 Cheers Jay , let's hope this is just the start . Good to see you're still keeping an eye on your old club by the way . Posted by Ted on 18 March 2012 Its in the blood Im afraid Ted, hope I can make a guest appearance for you next season just a one off final farewell an all that (Saturday)Good luck in yer final Posted by Jay on 09 April 2012 It finally looks like well have changing rooms built which should be completed by May and as they cost £250,000 we should celebrate the opening of them with an exhibition game which in my opinion because of your links with the club you should captain one of the teams . Always a place at Bramham for legends like yourself . It will be tough v Boston as they've won the 1st division in a canter and got to 5 finals but were in the final on merit and hopefully we can make a game of it . Posted by Ted on 13 April 2012 Ted i have to say I would absolutely love that, probably make my year let me know if its gonna happen. JAY Posted by Jay on 17 April 2012 Yesterdays Game Terrific result yesterday with what was very much a scratch side , sadly the joy of the win is always tainted when the defeated away team choose not to do the sporting thing and come back to your pub for a beer Posted by Ted on 29 January 2012 The Standard of Referee's While I understand it is not the done thing to criticize a referee, today I really must change my ways on this. I have played senior level football for over 20 years and while the standard of refereeing can never be that of a premiership standard one, for a match official to have to be collected from his home because he is over the drink drive limit and then to parade around a football pitch disguised as a match official is a disgrace. I run a business which employs nearly 200 people and if an employee ever turned in for work in the state the referee came to the match today, he would be dismissed and I would call for HDFA to do the same. I really hope this individual never sets foot on a football pitch as a match official ever again. Posted by Mark Tasker on 03 December 2011 Totally agree with you Mark , all week you can't wait for Saturday to come and then when its finally here you get Oliver Reed turning up with a whistle and a set of flags . Shocking and then to compound matters he gets paid for turning up in that state too . Posted by Ted on 03 December 2011 It was a disgrace today . If we turned up in the state he did as players , we would not be allowed to play , & quite rightly so . The writing was on the wall when he asked them for a lift to the football & yet he still turned up not ready for the game . Got to feel sorry for your Adam . Apparently , Mr.West is reffing Wetherby's Sunday game later today !!! Posted by TOSH on 04 December 2011 I think we have all made our point and been relatively reserved in doing so, which is a first for us. We should now wait to see the response from HDFL. "Hopefully" this man should be dealt with strongly by the league. Posted by Mark Tasker on 05 December 2011 Just to keep you in the loop , as you know Dave rang and spoke to Rob Davison on Saturday who asked for photographic evidence and he also left a message with Duncan Sunley and neither one has got back to Dave as of 7 pm tonight . A letter has gone into the League regarding the condition of the official so hopefully we'll get some feed back soon . My only concern is will their be repercussions as we have obviously rocked the boat in refusing to sweep this under the carpet . Posted by Ted on 05 December 2011 Training Training started at Boston Comp this Tuesday on the astroturf with a grand total of 6 players turning up . If this club is to grow as we would like it to then that means we must act like football club and not a pub team . Results will improve if our attitude improves or are we just a set of lads who want a kick about on a Saturday in division 3 with the odd cup run thrown in . It's your team lads so you decide which direction it goes . Posted by Ted on 03 November 2011 Congratulations ? Heard a little rumour that you're now a dad Tosh , hope Karen and the little un are doing well . Time for a few beers ?? Posted by Ted on 30 October 2011 It is true Ted ,cheers . Baby Chloe Jessica Maltby was born at 6.16 Saturday morning , 29TH October weighing in at a massive 5lb 10oz!!! Karen & Chloe both doing well . A few beers? It would be rude not to!! Maybe try & double it up as a Bramham FC christmas party?? Might be allowed out by then!! Posted by Tosh on 30 October 2011 Nice one mate , you give us a date and well get the lads together . You might be a bit pissed that night but I think you'll cope Posted by Ted on 01 November 2011 View All Posts, Ever! (Could be a long page!) | ![]() |
